rent now - Rental Agreement
The rental agreement is between Carlux365 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and the renter (“you” or “your”). The agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
- Vehicle Reservation and Rental
Minimum age requirement: You must be at least 21 and hold a valid driver's license. Kilometre limit: There is a daily limit of 250km. Additional kilometres will be charged at 10 AED per kilometre. Deductions: We deduct expenses such as SALIK Toll Gates, parking fees, and traffic fines from the security deposit. Additional drivers: Up to two drivers can be registered and allowed to drive the rental car.
- Driver's License and Identification
Valid documents: You must present a valid driver's license and identification document (e.g., passport) during vehicle pickup. License validity: The driver's license must be valid and at least one year old.
- Payment and Security Deposit
Rental charges: Rental charges, including taxes, fees, and optional extras, must be paid in advance or at pickup as per the agreed terms. Security deposit: A security deposit of 5000 AED can be made using a debit card, credit card, or cash. The amount will be returned to your account 20 days after the last rental date. Credit Card requirement: A Credit/Visa Card is mandatory to make a reservation. The primary driver of our rented vehicle must have a Credit Card under their name, which will be used to cover the excess/deposit amount and settle other charges.
- Rental Extension and Returns
Extension: If you want to extend the rental period, please notify us to avoid additional charges. Return conditions: The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location at the end of the rental period, with the same fuel level and in the same condition as received. Late returns: Late returns may incur additional charges, and you will be responsible for any damages or losses during the extended rental period.
- Insurance and Liability
Insurance coverage: Our vehicles are insured against third-party liability, subject to the insurance policy terms and conditions. Renter's responsibility: The renter is responsible for any damages, losses, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period up to the specified excess amount in the rental agreement.
- Prohibited Activities
Smoking prohibition: Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rental car. A fee of 1500 AED will be applied for cleaning and sanitization if smoking is detected. Off-road driving: Off-road driving on sand is strictly prohibited. Other prohibited activities: Using the vehicle for illegal purposes, driving under the influence, exceeding passenger capacity, or driving outside the UAE boundaries without prior approval.
- Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made following our cancellation policy, provided at the time of reservation. Refund policy: Refunds (if applicable) will be processed according to our refund policy, subject to any applicable fees or deductions.
- Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for damages or inconveniences arising from using our website, rental services, or vehicles except where prohibited by law. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process your personal information according to our Privacy Policy, accessible on our website.
- Amendments to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify our Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be effective once we post the revised Terms and Conditions on our website.
