In these Terms, the following words carry the following meanings unless the context requires otherwise:

CarLux365, we, us, our — the company operating carlux365.com and providing the vehicle hire services.

Renter, you, your — the person who books and/or signs the Rental Agreement for a Vehicle.

Additional Driver — any further driver named by the Renter and approved in writing by CarLux365.

Vehicle — the vehicle hired under the Rental Agreement, with its make, model, plate number and condition recorded in the Agreement.

Rental Agreement — the agreement signed between you and CarLux365, including these Terms and any schedule of charges, which together form one contract.

Rental Period — the period from the agreed pickup date and time to the agreed return date and time. Any approved extension is treated as a new Rental Period.

Security Deposit — the refundable amount paid or blocked before collection to cover excess, fines, fuel, damage and other charges.

Restricted Use — any use other than reasonable, lawful road use, including driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; racing, rallying or drifting; off-road or unpaved-road driving; driving through or parking in standing water; towing; or carrying passengers beyond the Vehicle's rated capacity.

Throughout, "including" is read as "including without limitation"; the singular includes the plural; and all amounts are in UAE Dirhams (AED).

2.1 The Renter and any Additional Driver must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's licence that is at least one (1) year old, and must keep it valid for the whole Rental Period.

2.2 The Renter and any Additional Driver must hold and maintain valid legal status in the UAE for the entire Rental Period — whether as a visitor (tourist visa) or a resident (residence visa and/or Emirates ID). CarLux365 may refuse or end a rental, or refuse any Additional Driver, where this status cannot be verified.

2.3 Original documents required at collection (copies are not accepted):

• Visitors / tourists: original passport, original driver's licence, and a valid International Driving Permit where applicable.

• UAE residents: original passport, Emirates ID, and a valid UAE driver's licence.

Failure to present these at collection is treated as a cancellation by the Renter and incurs a penalty of AED 500.

2.4 If, during the Rental Period, a licence expires or becomes invalid, or legal status in the UAE lapses, the Renter must notify CarLux365 immediately and stop driving the Vehicle.

3.1 A credit card in the name of the primary driver is mandatory to make a reservation. It is used to secure the excess and deposit and to settle any charges due under the Agreement.

3.2 A minimum booking deposit of AED 500, payable by credit card, confirms a reservation. This is separate from, and additional to, the rental option chosen at pickup under clause 4.2, and is treated as set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy below.

3.3 Up to two (2) Additional Drivers may be registered and approved. Only the Renter and approved Additional Drivers may drive the Vehicle. If anyone else drives it, the Renter is liable for an additional charge of AED 500 per instance, and any insurance or protection may be void for that period.

3.4 CarLux365 offers free delivery and collection within a 20 km radius of our designated delivery locations in Dubai. Delivery or collection beyond this radius, outside Dubai, or outside our normal working hours may be arranged for an additional charge agreed in advance.

3.5 By accepting the Vehicle at delivery, you accept it is in the condition recorded in the Agreement, and you agree to return it in the same condition, fair wear and tear excepted. Vehicle condition is documented by photo and video before and after the rental. Any damage not recorded at the time of delivery shall be deemed not to have existed at delivery.

4.1 Rental charges — including taxes, fees and any optional extras — are payable in advance or at pickup, as agreed. All charges are quoted exclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes, which are borne by the Renter.

4.2 At pickup you choose one of two options:

• With deposit — a refundable Security Deposit of AED 5,000, paid by credit card, debit card or cash (or blocked on your card). It is returned after the Vehicle is returned and inspected, less any deductions.

• Without deposit — a non-refundable waiver fee from AED 300 in place of the AED 5,000 deposit. You remain fully liable for damage, fines, excess mileage and other charges; only the upfront refundable amount is waived.

4.3 Any refundable balance of the Security Deposit is returned within 30 days of the final rental date, provided no deductions apply.

4.4 CarLux365 may deduct from the Security Deposit, or charge your card, for Salik and toll charges, parking fees, traffic fines and related administration, fuel shortfalls, excess mileage, damage, late-return fees, and any other amounts due under the Agreement.

4.5 Salik toll crossings are charged at the prevailing Salik rate per crossing, plus an administrative handling fee. Traffic and parking fines incurred during the Rental Period are the Renter's responsibility and may carry an administrative handling fee.

5.1 The standard mileage allowance is 250 km per day. Additional kilometres are charged from AED 20 per km depending on the car category.

5.2 For long-term rentals of 30 days or more, a different allowance and excess rate may apply, as stated in the Rental Agreement.

5.3 The Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at collection. A shortfall is charged at cost plus a AED 50 processing fee.

6.1 Daily charges are calculated on a 24-hour basis. The Vehicle must be returned to the agreed location at the agreed date and time, clean and in the same condition as at collection. An excessive cleaning fee applies where the Vehicle is returned unreasonably soiled.

6.2 A grace period of 30 minutes applies. After that, in addition to any further rental days, late returns are charged:

• 31 to 120 minutes late — AED 300

• more than 120 minutes late — one full day's rental rate

6.3 Returns outside normal working hours, or at a location not agreed in advance, may incur additional charges, which should be confirmed beforehand.

6.4 CarLux365 may ask you to swap the Vehicle during working hours if it is due for service or maintenance, and will provide a replacement (which may be temporary).

6.5 CarLux365 may recall and repossess the Vehicle at any time, without notice, if the Renter breaches the Agreement. If the Vehicle is not returned on the agreed date and the Renter does not respond to our requests, CarLux365 may report it to the police as stolen and pursue all legal remedies, including recovery of the Vehicle and any outstanding amounts.

7.1 To extend, send a written request before your current end date to info@carlux365.com or our WhatsApp line +971 58 552 1050, from the contact details on your Agreement.

7.2 An extension is only valid once CarLux365 confirms it in writing and the additional charges are paid. Continued use without an approved extension is treated as a new Rental Period and may incur additional charges and fines.

"With reference to Rental Agreement no. [number] dated [date], I, [full name], would like to extend the rental for [number of days] until [return date]."

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Smoking in the Vehicle — a cleaning and sanitisation fee of AED 1,500 applies if detected.

• Off-road driving, including on sand.

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Using the Vehicle for any illegal purpose.

• Exceeding the Vehicle's passenger capacity.

• Driving outside the UAE without our prior written approval.

• Any other Restricted Use as defined in clause 1.

A breach may void insurance cover, make the Renter fully liable for the resulting damages, and entitle CarLux365 to end the rental and repossess the Vehicle.

9.1 In the event of any accident, theft, damage or breakdown, you must notify CarLux365 and the police immediately and obtain a police report. Under UAE law, an insurance claim cannot be processed without one — without a valid police report, the Renter may be liable for the full cost of repair or replacement. The Renter must not move the Vehicle from the accident scene unless instructed to do so by the police and CarLux365.

9.2 You must not admit fault, agree settlements, or authorise repairs on our behalf, and you must cooperate fully with CarLux365 and its insurer in handling any claim.

9.3 You are responsible for any traffic or parking fine, toll, ticket or warning incurred during the Rental Period, together with any related administrative fee, and authorise CarLux365 to charge these after the Vehicle is returned.

10.1 In the event of an accident for which the Renter is deemed at fault, the Renter shall be liable for a business loss fee equivalent to 50–70% of the daily rental rate for the duration of the Vehicle's repair period. This fee compensates CarLux365 for loss of use and potential revenue during the Vehicle's downtime. The exact percentage shall be determined by CarLux365 based on the severity of the damage and the estimated repair time.

11.1 Vehicles are insured against third-party liability, subject to the terms of the insurance policy.

11.2 The Renter is responsible for damage, loss or theft of the Vehicle during the Rental Period up to the excess stated in the Rental Agreement — and for the full amount where cover is void due to a breach of these Terms, such as Restricted Use, unauthorised drivers, or driving without a valid licence or legal status.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CarLux365 is not liable for any indirect, consequential or punitive damages, or for inconvenience arising from the use of our website, services or vehicles, except where such a limitation is prohibited by law.

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

14.1 Amendments. CarLux365 may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect once posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance.

14.2 Severability. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.

14.3 Entire agreement. The Rental Agreement together with these Terms is the entire agreement between you and CarLux365 and supersedes any prior understanding.

14.4 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the UAE and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
