Documents You Need

Passport and Visa

International Driving Permit (IDP)

According to the Carlux365 FAQ, tourists need an IDP to drive in the UAE. There are important exceptions:

Tip: Get Your IDP Before You Fly

An IDP is usually issued in your home country by the national motoring association. Apply a few weeks before travelling.
