For all UAE residents, a copy of a valid passport, residency and UAE driving license (active for at least one year) should be provided at the time of renting. For tourists and visitors, a copy of a valid passport, UAE entry visa (if applicable) and IDP(International Driving Permit) is necessary.

While the legal driving age in the UAE is 18, you need to be at least 21 years old to rent a car. At CarLux365, you need to be 21 to rent normal cars and 25 to rent supercars.

You need an IDP to be able to drive in the UAE if you are a tourist. You don’t need an IDP if you have a valid driving license from another GCC country. Most rental companies allow 30 minutes to an hour to return the car. At CarLux365, we allow up to 2 hours depending on availability.

Call the police on 999 and inform the police of your location. You essentially need to get a police report, the rest of the information will be mentioned in our rental contract.

Payment methods for parking can vary depending on the emirate you’re parking in. For public parking in Dubai, the renter needs to send an SMS to 7275 with the car’s plate number, the parking zone, and duration of parking e.g.: A12345 123A 1
